River Fest Performer Spotlight

"Marian Tewsksbury" - Resonator Blue

Marian Tewksbury from Southern Tier, NY
Marian Tewksbury is a longtime local and regional blues guitarist/singer/songwriter. Her early musical interests were rooted in rock and roll but eventually blossomed into a strong passion for the blues. She has been performing in coffeehouses, clubs, restaurants and bars for over 3 decades and has partnered with some of the best. Currently, with Mississpi Dee as the " Incidental Sisters." Her music is a blend of blues, folk and original compositions. Marian plays guitar, blues harp, sings and mixes it up with the resonator and occassional mandolin. Last year she recorded her Resonator Blues CD and plans on returning to the studio in late summer to record again. Some of her upcoming shows are as follows:
